Football Business
The football industry has appreciated our advice and consultancy work.
We have offered guidance to 15 percent of clubs in the Premier and
Coca-Cola leagues in the United Kingdom – and increasingly our expertise
is sought overseas.
The nature of our support has been varied from simple instruction in meetings through to more complex assignments.
To date this has included such as: planning for new stadia, feasibility studies, funding bids, community initiatives, setting up supporters trusts and all the facets of our mainstream marketing and fundraising consultancy.
Our name was initially grown in this sector with support from the Professional Football Association (Football in the Community section) after seeing examples of our work, delivered on a cost-effective basis. This led us into many a community set-up related to the main club. We achieved several £Million funding successes related to Football in the Community at such as Arsenal FC and Charlton Athletic FC.
Everton FC has requested our services on three occasions on varied projects. Other high profile clubs have included Blackburn Rovers FC, Ipswich Town FC and West Bromwich Albion FC. In addition, we have been hands-on in support to smaller clubs in lower leagues and semi-professional; and indeed can offer a sub-contract alternative to marketing/commercial matters.
The consultancy project at Oldham Athletic FC was award winning.
At Woodley Sports FC, we achieved the ‘pump-priming’ monies from the Football Foundation for a £3 Million development. This the pilot Football Association scheme for a next generation artificial turf pitch. We assisted securing the initial £250,000 from European monies towards the establishment of international development centres, “Football For Life”.
Our Director was invited to be a speaker at the Istanbul International Football Festival in Turkey in 2006 titled “Istanball” and has presented at Chartered Institute of Marketing events including strategies for attracting more spectators to football stadia.
In 2009, the same Director, Adrian Stores, was appointed the first ever Ambassador (Networking Captain) in the United Kingdom for international forum, Football Partnerships - and its Football Partnerships Network (FPN).
