Our property knowledge led to the formation of Whirling Dervish Turkish Property and Turkish Homes Abroad. Our consultants offer advice on marketing, opportunities and feasibility studies including land deals and potential leisure/tourism viability such as golf courses. We were invited as a specialist marketing and sponsorship consultancy to tender for support to Universiade 2005 (World Student Games in Izmir).
This increased workload in the Country led to our undertaking market research projects and also devising a tourism strategy for one resort on the Aegean Coastline. We originated extra-time: The Turkish Magazine. It was born out of a desire to find interesting, lively and up to date news on the happenings, both now and predicted, for the Country of Turkey. Furthermore, the publication has a desire to be more than just another UK-Turkish magazine or newspaper, but be there to provide a stimulating and refreshing forum for Turkish news. UKTI (United Kingdom Trade and Investment) distributed extra-time to trade gatherings and briefings on Turkey. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has commented on our authoritative advice and interpretations: "I have just received and gazed through the magazine, it looks really good! Congratulations! I will send some to our offices in Istanbul, Ankara and the honorary consulates on the coast."
One of our Directors has authored a non-fiction book titled “B&B:Friendship & Football” that has had much media coverage concerning his personal experiences with the Country. We have been interviewed on BBC Radio 4 for our knowledge on everything Turkish.
ACROBAT Consulting & Marketing has a dual base and Turkish-speaking staff and good contacts with professionals throughout Turkey including banks, solicitors, architects and contractors.
