ACROBAT Slam Dunk
Stockport's leading basketball club, established in 1963, has employed ACROBAT to advise on sustainability and business development 
issues that include: marketing, PR, sponsorship and funding.
An early input enabled the Stockport Basketball Club to feature in a promotional video for the Borough promoting the Town and its amenities to visiting nations in association with the 2012 Olympics.
The Club is Stockport's only five star accredited organisation by England Basketball.
Its Chairman, Jim Bennison MBE attended the England Basketball Volunteer Awards Luncheon at The National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham where he was paid tribute to for his many years of voluntary service to Basketball before presented with an award 'In Recognition of outstanding service to English Basketball'.
Stockport Basketball Club is often at the front of sports development for local youngsters and adults. It is proud of its unrivalled reputation. The Club plays from the North West Regional Basketball Centre in Reddish, and provide participation from nursery age through to adults teams in the National League. The male teams are branded as ‘Falcons’ and female ‘Lapwings’.
