Celebrating Conference
The Conference was titled "HAYDI FUTBOLDAS OLALIM" - "Let's be football friends!"
Kadir Has Üniversitesi hosted FC Sports Marketing’s first major international conference. This leading event for the football industry in Istanbul, was project managed by Bilen Kur and Serkan Tuzkan with all marketing, PR and social media organised by Mustafa Bilir.
The Conference was a huge success with Adrian Stores, Director, a speaker alongside Client, Robin Pye from FC United of Manchester.
Significant media coverage resulted including sports blogs and e-zines throughout Turkey, UK Embassy, Sky Turk, Taraf, Anadolu Ajansi etc. An example of television coverage is available in our YouTube Channel. Plus the headline in the Turkish National newspaper, Taraf is illustrated below.
The popularity has led to requests for similar conferences in Istanbul and Izmir.
There is also, a general interest from the extensive media coverage in exploring whether a fans-owned club like FC United might have a role to play in the Country of Turkey; and counteract some of the deficiencies that they are currently experiencing.
Adrian is now working alongside giant Turkish clubs with colleagues, including Galatasaray, Fenerbache and Besiktas on a variety of commercial assignments.
