Celtic Promotes Football
In the light of the dismal performance by the England football team in the World Cup, its reassuring that some good, solid back to basics football skills are happening closer to Home.
ACROBAT has been involved in the launch of the “Stalybridge Celtic Pro 21 Programme”. A Scheme that offers the opportunity for aspiring teenagers to pursue a dream destination in a “Pro-football club” whilst linking football coaching and education from techniques around the World – so that all participants are guaranteed an education that irrespective of playing ability can result in a career in the sports industry.
The initiative is headed by Alan Keeling who has employed ACROBAT Consulting & Marketing again and has recently returned to Stalybridge Celtic Football Club as Manager Under 21s. He was formerly the Academy Manager who took the team to the Conference Youth League Championship and National League and Cup Finals. After gaining his Brazilian Pro Licence the Club have now reaappointed him again linking with first team Manager, Jim Harvey, to take the Club forward and with full time training as they did with Morecambe FC.
We previously assisted him on securing funding for "Football For Life" (see: www.acrobatonline.com/Football-Business). The “Stalybridge Celtic Pro 21 Programme” will instill qualities into the players and deliver a NVQL2 in sports coaching qualification. The programme is also available for individuals overseas on a fee basis. Photo: Alan Keeling with replica shirts of four semi-finalists in 2010 World Cup.
