Collaboration on projects
ACROBAT Consulting & Marketing has agreed to identify and work on joint consultancy/research projects after an approach from the University of Coventry's Dr John Beech, Head of Sport & Tourism Applied Research. This will be under the auspices of SURGE.
SURGE is the Applied Research Centre of Sustainable Regeneration and aims to contribute to policy that seeks to promote the sustainable regeneration of both urban and rural economies by seeking to reduce dependence upon older, labour intensive industries and low skill services in areas where increased overseas competition - as a result of ongoing globalisation - has brought about a dramatic decline in employment opportunities.
Dr Beech comments: "Very good to meet up today. I feel there is definitely potential for synergy."
