Directors keep on running
It is the fourth consecutive year that Managing Director, Adrian Stores, has participated in the ten kilometre race around City-Centre Manchester, Old Trafford (Manchester United’s Stadium) and Salford Quays. This Year accompanied by Bilge Stores, monies were raised to support Andrew Jones, who was left paralysed from the neck down after a road accident. Needless to say he is wheelchair bound.
In the previous Year, Adrian ran to help a beneficiary in Turkey called Sevgi Cicegi Zihinsel ve Bedensel Engelli Aileleri Dayanisma Dernegi (special needs Charity) and its associated School, Ozel Sevgi Cicegi Ozel Egitim ve Rehabilitasyon.
Earlier beneficiaries have included: contribution to Charlotte Harwood’s fees having been accepted to the Mount View Academy to study a BA (Honours) Degree in Performing Musical Theatre, monies towards a Community Sports project at Cheadle Town Football Club – and contribution to the funds of Werneth School’s PTA in its attempt to gain specialist school status for sports and performing arts.
