Dragon's Den
Fresh from DreamWorks' launch of "How to train your Dragon", ACROBAT has been appointed on its very own 'dragon project'.
Our Consultants will be undertaking a feasibility study and any funding applications that might arise, towards the refurbishment and development of a site in Sale Moor, Manchester.
The Scheme envisaged will be home to Sale Moor Cricket Club and a Junior football club, Brooklands Dragons FC. The latter have been attracting the attention of Premier League clubs for affiliation. ACROBAT Sports (www.acrobatsports.com) has also designed a team kit for the boys to play in the forthcoming season and become a sponsor.
The final concept has to be evaluated but might include: storage for cricket and football, 7-a-side junior synthetic football/kwik cricket pitch, refurbishment of toilets and male and female changing accommodation, DDA compliance, synthetic cricket wicket, cricket nets and supplementary sports/maintenance equipment. Futsal is also being considered. Early activities will include liaison with Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council.
The Client has said: "Adrian has been absolutely instrumental in helping our Junior Football Club to find badly needed funding to refurbish our run down premises and also provide equipment for the children."
