Adrian Stores, Director has been non-Executive since 2006 with Fingershield UK Limited. The Company concentrates on: child safety (via www.fingershield.co.uk and www.simplesafetysolutions.com) and window security (www.windowsecuritysafety.co.uk). Many of the products are distributed into schools, childcare establishments and sports/leisure centres.
Recently, we have been asked to promote an innovative Sharks Fin that acts as a buoyancy aid in swimming instruction and has the potential to revolutionise swimming instruction. The 'Swim Fin' as it is branded is endorsed by the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and available for purchase from http://www.simplesafetysolutions.com/Child-Swimming-Aids-Category-500144.html (though volume purchases can be directed through Fingershield UK direct).
The innovation came from Kevin Moseley, who presented the concept at 'Dragon's Den' on BBC television. The Dragons offered to invest but the share of equity was not perceived as acceptable. Swim Fin now exports to over 70 countries.
