Football Club expelled
ACROBAT Consulting & Marketing received a 'last ditch' call to advise on an acquisition of Chester City FC. We offered guidance on clarifying financial forecasts and an investment package to survive. In addition, we approached several interested investors.

The 'guardians' of the Club did not progress these findings. Chester City is an English football club though with the ground actually in both England and Wales.
It joined the Football League in 1931, but has spent most of its history in the lower divisions.
After an earlier Administration order and with on-going financial problems the Club was served with a winding-up order by HM Revenue & Customs. Later it was suspended from the Conference National for breaches of league rules, and later expelled from the League. At the time of writing this news it appears that a re-invention and new custodianship will be a necessity.
