Leading sports radio station’s new interactive online magazine has approached ACROBAT for help in deciphering a conundrum.
It had a photograph, taken from a fixture between Turkey and England in the 1980s, and wanted advice on identifying three players 
marking Brian Robson – and also the goalkeeper. A task made slightly less easy as before the widely available match reporting on the Internet. Consultant, Bilen Kur spotted Yusuf Altintas (from Kocaeli, where we have just been asked to support a football project), Mujdat Yetkiner and Sedat Ozden. Yasar Duran was the keeper.
The latter, was the goalkeeper between Turkey and England which resulted in an 8-0 defeat. This accounts for his ‘celebrity status’. After Liverpool’s Champions League game last year against Besiktas (8-0 also), he received much publicity in stating in the media that only he can understand Hakan Arikan's emotions (the Besiktas' goalkeeper that suffered that same fate!).
