Talking Turkey

Turkey is a vast Country touching borders with Central Asia, the Middle East, as well as European destinations.  The Turkish authorities have taken steps to put agreements in place with 39 countries related to investment potential with a view to minimizing any tax implications.

The Country itself offers many opportunities including for both imports and exports.  The fiscal and monetary policies implemented between 2002 and 2007 have brought impressive results and economic stability.  Its population is in excess of 70 Million.

Turkey has applied to join the European Community and a future entry looks likely.  This will elevate Turkish property prices significantly and early buyers will be able to capitalise from a return on their investment which, has been delivering between 20% - 30% growth per annum.  Investment opportunities and bargains still abound and our local knowledge places us ideally to act as a gateway into modern Turkey.

ACROBAT Consulting & Marketing was initially appointed to assist a hotel operator on the west coast of Turkey, in the resort of Kusadasi.  The request for consultancy support came from a British tour operator going into receivership, leaving the Hotel with no contracted agency for the forthcoming holiday season.  We undertook detailed research and prepared a marketing strategy and plans for implementation which resulted in sufficient custom to enable survival.  The assignment - themed Marketing on a Shoestring - was nominated in the Chartered Institute of Marketing Awards for Excellence and the Company has completed subsequent work in this Country.

We accompanied the Turkish Trade Desk of the Department of Trade and Industry (under auspices of Beverley Hughes MP) to Istanbul for a trade mission in the 1990s.
