World of Sport
It is difficult to summarise all ACROBAT’s sports (including leisure and tourism) experience as it has covered many disciplines. Our Director was Chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Specialist Consultants Group for these sectors.
We have won the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s SWOT Award for Marketing Excellence in support of a business plan to secure funding for a recreation centre conversion to visitor attraction in Stoke-on-Trent, Ceramica.
We have assisted many local authorities, national governing bodies of sports, professional and amateur clubs, voluntary groups and trusts. ACROBAT’s consultants have featured in videos and authoritative publications produced by Sport England.
Often our skills are used to assist relatively small capital budgets for example to improve facilities at schools. On a larger basis, we have worked on large stadia redevelopments and new build plans including Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Our football industry experience where we have an enviable reputation is described on the next page.
Our fundraising successes have included preparation and submission of bids that have brought visions to reality for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in 2002.
